5480 Wounds of Christ Devotion

Welcome to the tenth meditation of the 5480 Wounds devotion of St. Bridget of Sweden. Today we invite you to contemplate the wounds sustained even on His Sacred Face in His third fall, when He fell prostrate onto the ground. Prayer: O Jesus! Who art the beginning and end of all things, life and virtue, remember that for our sakes Thou was plunged into an abyss of suffering from the soles of Thy Feet to the crown of Thy Head. In consideration of the enormity of Thy Wounds, teach me to keep, through pure love, Thy Commandments, whose way is wide and easy for those who love Thee. Amen.
