Aflame 99 - Prayer Is the Heartbeat of the Church

Aflame for Christ

The Holy Spirit wants to shower many gifts upon His Church: courage for those persecuted, powerful words and deeds from preachers of the Gospel, acts of charity and self-sacrifice, a deep desire for holiness. But all of these spiritual gifts flow from the fount: an intimate union with Jesus Christ in prayer. Prayer is the heartbeat that moves graces throughout the Body of Christ. How does the Spirit help us to pray?
