Discernment with Scrabble Tiles (Memory Palace)
Ardere
We all, deep down, want to believe that our lives have purpose and that we can fulfill that purpose. In Catholic faith, we know that we do indeed have purpose, and that God himself will help us to fulfill it. Listen to this talk to learn some important and uncommon truths about discerning God's will and finding your purpose in friendship with him. This talk involves a "memory palace," which is an ancient (and super fun) mnemonic device. To learn more about memory palaces, check out Kevin Vost's books, Memorize the Faith (Sophia Institute Press, 2006) and Memorize the Reasons (Catholic Answers, 2013).

About Podcast
There is only one true and lasting energy -- the love of God. Drawing upon the Cistercian tradition, the Ardere Podcast delivers Catholic content designed to enflame the heart with ardent love for God and neighbor. It is inspired by Bl. John Brenner, a Hungarian Cistercian for whom the motto "to be aflame and to enlighten" (ardere et lucere) was a guiding principle until his martyrdom under communism in 1957. His icon is the image for this podcast.
