The Eucharist and the Crisis of Energy
Ardere
Homily originally given July 28, 2024 Do you sometimes feel like you're running out of energy? Do you want to find the "living water" Jesus promises? To feed on the miraculously multiplying loaves he offers to his disciples? Learn to live every moment -- good or bad -- in his REAL PRESENCE in the Eucharist, and you will find an inexhaustible source of energy: an awareness of God's goodness that provokes in you an endurance and an excitement that enables you to launch through life, and then beyond life into God's eternal friendship. About Podcast
There is only one true and lasting energy -- the love of God. Drawing upon the Cistercian tradition, the Ardere Podcast delivers Catholic content designed to enflame the heart with ardent love for God and neighbor. It is inspired by Bl. John Brenner, a Hungarian Cistercian for whom the motto "to be aflame and to enlighten" (ardere et lucere) was a guiding principle until his martyrdom under communism in 1957. His icon is the image for this podcast.
