The commandment "you shall not steal" goes far deeper than avoiding theft and jealousy. The Catechism frames it's teachings on business ethics, labor, and economic policy within this commandment. Bishop Ruggieri explains all of this, as well as the Catholic Church's teachings on private property and treatment of the poor. He also takes an opportunity to discuss how technological advancements such as AI must only be used to enhance the dignity of human work, never to eliminate it.
