Saint Stephen of Perm: Translator To The Heart
Awaken the Saint
Stephen knew deep down that he wanted to reach the Zyrians in a way that would wake up the longing in their hearts. Just as he learned the Zyrians' language, we can seek common ground with those we speak to, so that God can speak to their hearts. Saint Stephen of Perm 1340 - 1396. Feast day: April 26.
