CatholicVote Founder is Appealing to the MASSES | Brian Burch | Episode #079
The BeatiDudes
As a devoted husband, father of nine, and President and Founder of CatholicVote, Brian Burch provides a leading voice of faith and reason for the modern world. CatholicVote is an advocacy organization that inspires lay Catholics in America to live out the truths of our faith in public life. Knowing that the current culture and politics can be daunting and frustrating, Brian lives by the mantra, “The greater the challenge, the greater the adventure.” Brian encourages all Mass-attending Catholics to focus more on getting their fellow parishioners to vote in each election than to worry about converting a longtime holdout. Brian also shares his reflections on the liberation that comes from following the guidance of nature, the Bible, and over 2,000 years of wisdom from the smartest people who came before us. On Blessed are the Joke Makers, the Dudes must take on the persona of a person stuck in the decade of your choice to address the prompt, “Things Jesus never spoke about.” The TBD question for this episode is “Describe 2023 in two words. Expand on those words after your answer.” On Reverse Simpsons, Brian and the Dudes give their New Year’s resolutions for 2024.
