Radio For Your Soul | Dave Palmer, General Manager of KATH 910am in DFW | Episode #107
The BeatiDudes
After interviewing others on Catholic radio for decades, Dave Palmer, General Manager for the Guadalupe Radio Network in North Texas, joins The BeatiDudes as a special guest for one of the funniest episodes across all three seasons. Early in his career, Dave was inspired by late-night host David Letterman's path and decided to be a weatherman, hoping to break into comedy. Yes, you read that correctly. Throughout his career, Dave has also served as a theology teacher, a morning DJ on a local hit radio station, and an online expert on St Thomas Aquinas’s Summa Theologica. This show covers a little bit of everything, including trust in the Lord, marriage, humor, and the call to holiness in all of our workplace vocations. On Blessed are the Joke Makers, the Dudes must take on the persona of someone from the past or from the future to address the prompt, “What should I give up for Lent?” The TBD question of the day: complete this sentence… State your name, and then say what you hate. On Reverse Simpsons, we hand the show over to Dave Palmer to serve as the host.
