When the Institute for Homiletics opened its doors in Dallas in 2021, Bishop Kelly was among the first to enroll. The Institute for Homiletics, a collaboration between the University of Dallas and the Catholic Foundation, was founded to renew preaching in the Catholic Church. The Institute believes that preaching should bring the people of God into an encounter with the living God.
