Book 2 Chapter 7 | Discerning Doesn't Mean Done

Catholic& Podcast

In this episode, our friend Craig, a first-year seminarian, talks to us about his story. In it, we chat about pieces of his vocation and steps he has taken to discern - whatever that may be. In past lives, he has been a meteorologist and an organist. So you can bet that he knows how to follow the next right thing.  Three touchstones of note are: 1) for discernment to be good, it has to take time  2) God has a plan for you, and that's where you'll find joy and  3) You won't do what you're doing now forever. Pray about it, live in the moment and don't stress too hard. As an offered suggestion, check out Pray, Decide, and Don't Worry. It's a great book to read and be encouraged that you don't need your life together right now.
