Catholic Charities Doula Services provide free birth preparation and labor assistance, as well as case management, nutrition education, and breastfeeding support to low-income, expectant mothers residing in the City of Chicago. Join Phil Zepeda and Katie Bredemann as they welcome Velma Walker and Nicole Harper-Spencer to discuss how doulas affirm young mothers and their children, and help connect them to other Catholic Charities resources, as needed during their first weeks as a family.
