DIAKONIA -- Every Christian is Called to Diaconate Service

Catholic Chicago

Join Deacons Richard Hudzik and Dave Brencic in their conversation with Deacon Dominic Cerrato, Director of the Joliet Diaconate, who walks through the highlights of his new book, Discovering Christ the Servant: A Spirituality of Service. Deacon Dominic explains how the servanthood of Christ, which animates what a deacon does, is a servanthood all Christians are called to. This is liberating good news, as well as a challenge—all Christians, lay and ordained, are called to enact in every situation their identities as disciples of Jesus.
