Intro to the day: "Show me your hands. Do they have scars from giving? Show me your feet. Are they wounded in service? Show me your heart. Have you left a place for divine love?" –Ven. Fulton Sheen Today is Tuesday of the Sixth Week of Ordinary Time. We are praying for the faculty, staff, and families of Archdiocese of Portland, OR Catholic Schools. In the Gospel, the disciples are confused by Jesus’ words. Gospel: Mark 8:14-21 Saint of the Day: Saint Mesrop Mashtots the Teacher Marian prayer for the day: Memorare Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to thy protection, implored thy help or sought thine intercession was left unaided. Inspired by this confidence, I fly unto thee, O Virgin of Virgins, my mother; to thee do I come, before thee I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in thy mercy, hear and answer me.
