Intro to the day: “Throwing Flowers, repeating Your praises / That is my only pleasure in the valley of tears... / To Heaven I will soon go with the little angels / Throwing Flowers!...” – St. Thérèse of Lisieux Today is Wednesday, the Memorial of Saint Thérèse of the Child Jesus, Virgin and Doctor of the Church. We are praying for the faculty, staff, and families of St. Therese Catholic School in Portland, OR. In the Gospel, Jesus tells us how to follow Him. Gospel: Luke 9:57-62 Saint of the Day: St. Thérèse of Lisieux Marian prayer for the day: Hail, Holy Queen Hail, Holy Queen, Mother of Mercy, our life, our sweetness, and our hope! To thee do we cry, poor banished children of Eve. To thee do we send up our sighs, mourning and weeping in this valley of tears. Turn, then, O most gracious Advocate, thine eyes of mercy toward us, and after this, our exile, show unto us the blessed fruit of thy womb, Jesus. O clement, O loving, O sweet Virgin Mary. Lead: Pray for us, O holy Mother of God. Response: That we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ. _______________ To add intentions, get more resources and support, or if you would like to make a donation to support this podcast, visit us at missiondrivencatholic.com.
