Introduction: Precisely because it involves the body, fasting makes it easier to recognize what we “hunger” for and what we deem necessary for our sustenance. Pope Leo XIV Today is Wednesday of the Third Week of Lent. We are praying for the faculty, staff, and families of Fiat Classical Academy in Aurora, IN. Gospel: Matthew 5:17-19 Saint of the Day: St. Thomas Aquinas Lenten Meditation – The Price of Our Redemption Marian prayer for the day: Hail, Holy Queen Hail, Holy Queen, Mother of Mercy, our life, our sweetness and our hope! To thee do we cry, poor banished children of Eve. To thee do we send up our sighs, mourning and weeping in this valley of tears. Turn, then, O most gracious Advocate, thine eyes of mercy toward us, and after this, our exile, show unto us the blessed fruit of thy womb, Jesus. O clement, O loving, O sweet Virgin Mary. Lead: Pray for us, O holy Mother of God. Response: That we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ. ____________ To add intentions, get more resources and support, or if you would like to make a donation to support this podcast visit us at missiondrivencatholic.com.
