Lenten Quotes from St. John Paul II: “Conversion means turning again to God, recognizing His mercy and trusting in His love.” Today is Tuesday of the First Week of Lent. We are praying for the faculty, staff, and families of St. Rose School in Portland, OR. In the Gospel, our Lord gives us the Our Father. Gospel: Matthew 6:7-15 Saint of the Day: St. Thomas Aquinas Lenten Meditation – Christ underwent every kind of suffering Marian prayer for the day: Memorare Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to thy protection, implored thy help or sought thine intercession was left unaided. Inspired by this confidence, I fly unto thee, O Virgin of Virgins, my mother; to thee do I come, before thee I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in thy mercy, hear and answer me.
