#4 Catholicism on the Rise in Silicon Valley w/ Sondre Rasch

Catholic Founders

In today’s episode of Catholic Founders, we’re speaking with Sondre Rasch, a convert and founder of SafteyWing. Why should you care? He’s on his second YC (Y-Combinator, for those unaware, is the most prestigious startup accelerator in the world). He’s also living in the heart of Silicon Valley so he brings a lot of insight to us about being a Catholic founder there. We’ve got a wide-ranging conversation… Of the many topics we cover, perhaps the most interesting are, * What it’s like to be Catholic in Silicon Valley. * How His View of Business Changed After Conversion. * The Rise of Christianity in Tech * Seeing Greater Success After Converting * Reconciling Techno-Optimism and Catholicism * How Can Catholics Take Back the Culture And much more! Core Lesson: Brass tacks — It’s possible to be a Catholic Founder in Silicon Valley AND it’s becoming increasingly common. If the story of things starting in Silicon Valley and moving to the rest of the world repeats itself, we are in for a continued boom in conversions around the world. Let’s pray for it to continue, and do our part to talk about it. If you’re a digital nomad or managing remote teams, check out the SafteyWing product for your insurance needs. If you enjoyed the content - please subscribe and share with one other person who will benefit from the insights provided. Until next time—God bless and happy building! Silas Mähner Feeling Generous?
