Bishop Italo Dell'Oro
Catholic Lunch Break (Houston)
September 18, 2023 - His Excellency, Bishop Italo Dell'Oro, the auxiliary bishop of the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston recently returned from World Youth Day in Portugal. He sits down with KSHJ Executive Director Wyatt Goolsby to share from his heart about a wide range of personal and spiritual topics. They touch on what day to day challenges priests and bishops face, what it's like to be called as a bishop, how the spirituality of the Somascan order influenced his vocation, and a very moving experience that he had doing confirmations in a Texas prison.
