How an Evangelical Army Veteran Found the Truth of Baptism

Catholic ReCon | Conversion Testimonies

In this week's episode of Catholic ReCon, testimonies from reverts and converts, guest Avery Reukauf shares one of the wildest journeys I've ever heard. Full of surprises, Avery discusses "divine amnesia", her deployment to Iraq, her mother's passing, The Chosen, the Church of Christ, non denominationalism, her baby's passing, a forgotten sacrament, and the unbelievable reality of biblical baptism. At the end of many twists and turns, Avery landed on one thing: "God wants our heart."
