Being Catholic #411: The Bible, Tradition, and Why Schools Should Teach It

Catholic Spirit Radio

On this episode of Being Catholic, Bob Johnston and his wife Lynn discuss why the Bible should be taught in public schools, how the Scriptures were handed down through Catholic tradition, and how tradition informs interpretation on issues like the sanctity of life, abortion, euthanasia, and the death penalty. They also touch on recent news items (a claimed Noah's Ark excavation), the Texas curriculum debate over mandatory Bible readings, and preview future episodes exploring how the Church compiled the Bible and the ongoing role of tradition in Christian belief.
