October 12: ST. CARLO ACUTIS: The First Millennial Saint
Catholic Sprouts: Daily Podcast for Catholic Kids
St. Carlo Acutis was a completely normal kid who loved video games and dogs — and also visited Jesus in the Eucharist every single day. From the day of his First Communion, Carlo went to daily Mass and spent an hour before the tabernacle, calling the Eucharist his highway to heaven. He used his gift for coding to build a website cataloguing Eucharistic miracles from around the world, and when leukemia took his life at fifteen, he offered his suffering for the Pope and for souls in Purgatory. "I offer this suffering for the Pope and for souls in Purgatory." Today's challenge is just the start.
