Eric Clayton: What Star Wars Can Teach You About Following God
Catholics in Ordinary Time
Eric Clayton joins Fr. Jack to explore the surprising connection between Star Wars and Ignatian spirituality. Drawing from his book My Life with the Jedi: The Spirituality of Star Wars, Eric explains how themes of hope, discernment, purpose, temptation, redemption, and the search for meaning echo the spiritual wisdom of St. Ignatius of Loyola. Together, they discuss why stories like Star Wars continue to resonate so deeply and how they can help us recognize God's presence in our own lives. Whether you're a lifelong Star Wars fan, curious about Ignatian spirituality, or simply looking for practical ways to grow closer to God, this conversation offers a fresh perspective on faith and discipleship.

About Podcast
Hello everyone, and welcome to Catholics in Ordinary Time, a podcast where we listen to Catholics. Pretty simple really. I'm a Jesuit Catholic priest with questions about how Catholics practice their faith or why they quit. Everyone has a story and I want to hear more.
