Ep. #305 - A Catholic Guide to the New Testament w/ Dr. Swafford

Classical Theism Podcast

What is the New Testament? What is going on historically in the moments leading up to Jesus's life and ministry? How can we disentangle the different political rulers and their importance? What are some big theological themes to help us grasp what is happening on a deeper level? Dr. Andrew Swafford joins the podcast to discuss these topics and the new Ascension Press volume: A Catholic Guide to the New Testament. Listen to the end for a chance to win a free copy of this volume.

About Podcast

The Classical Theism Podcast aims to defend Catholic Christian ideas in conversation. With the help of various guests, I defend three pillars of the Catholic Christian worldview: (1) the God of classical theism exists, (2) Jesus is our Messiah and Lord, and (3) He founded the Catholic Church. We place a strong emphasis on the first pillar, defending classical theism, drawing upon the work of Thomistic philosopher Dr. Edward Feser and many others.
