Ep. 2: Sister Thea Bowman; Thanksgiving in Rome; serving refugees on the southern U.S. border

CNA Newsroom

In this Thanksgiving episode of CNA Newsroom, we'll share with you stories of perseverance and generosity. You'll hear about the life of Sr. Thea Bowman, a Franciscan who advocated for racial equality in the late 20th century - and who could soon be formally recognized as a Catholic saint. Next, we'll take a look at how American seminarians in Rome celebrate Thanksgiving. J.D. Flynn interviews a deacon who welcomes and serves asylum seekers on the southern U.S. border. And finally, a priest will give you advice for that sometimes dreaded Thanksgiving tradition: leading prayer out loud for your family.
