When Jesus Calls His Disciples to Rest
Daily Gospel Reflection on Veritas Catholic Network
Today’s Gospel Reading is Mark 7:30-34. After the apostles have gone out and have carried out the mission of proclaiming the Gospel, Jesus calls them back to rest together. Are we numbered among the crowd clamoring to know the Lord? The ones who follow Him in all things and desire to bring Him to others. Do we have the heart and mercy of Christ?
