Christ’s Prayer, Our Communion
Daily Gospel Reflection on Veritas Catholic Network
In today’s Gospel reflection, Fr. Sam Kachuba explores the depths of Christ’s prayer—not only for His apostles, but for us. Jesus desires closeness, not control. His love draws us into relationship, and His prayer reaches across time to include all who believe through the witness of the apostles. Fr. Sam reflects on this longing for union and the intimate presence of Jesus in the Eucharist, where we receive Him not merely as symbol, but in truth—personally and profoundly. Christ wants to dwell in us. And the Mass becomes the meeting place where that prayer is fulfilled. A rich meditation on love, presence, and the heart of the Church’s worship.
