Stand with Mary and John Under the Cross - Daily Gospel Reflection
Daily Gospel Reflection on Veritas Catholic Network
Today is Good Friday. Today we enter into the silence, standing at the foot of the Cross. What can we possibly say to our Lord, hanging on the cross. By His wounds we are healed, but by our sins He is afflicted. When we look at the cross, we need to see our own sins. As we stand with the Blessed Virgin and the Beloved Disciple, we need to also see the depth of His love. Our sin put Him there, but His love kept Him there. Praised Be Jesus Christ!
