Invitatory Antiphon: Come, Let us worship Christ the Lord, who for our sake endured temptation and suffering. Hymn First Antiphon: Let God arise, let his enemies flee before him. Psalm 68 Second Antiphon: Our God is a saving God; he, the Lord, holds the keys of death. Psalm 68 Third Antiphon: Kingdoms of earth, sing praise to God, make music in honor of the Lord. Psalm 68 Verse: This is the favorable time. Resp: This is the day of salvation. First Reading: Ex 32:1-20 Response: They forgot the God who had saved them, who had done such wonders in Egypt, such marvels at the Red Sea. Second Reading: From a sermon by St. Peter Chrysologus, bishop Response: Since giving to the poor expiates every sin.
