Invitatory Antiphon: Come, let us worship Christ the Lord, who for our sake endured temptation and suffering. Hymn First Antiphon: Day by day I shall bless you Lord. Psalm 145 Second Antiphon: Your kingdom, Lord, is an everlasting kingdom. Psalm 145 Third Antiphon: The Lord is faithful in all his words and loving in all his deeds. Psalm 145 Verse: The Lord will feed him with the bread of life and understanding. Resp: And give him the water of wisdom to drink First Reading: Ex 22:20-23:9 Response: Rescue the weak and the poor, and save them from the grasp of the wicked. Second Reading: From a treatise on John by St. Augustine, bishop Response: He was speaking of the Spirit who would be received by those who believed in him.
