People Over Profit | Gary Crisp

Eleven Talents | Legatus Podcast

What does it look like to build a successful company without making profit the ultimate goal? Gary Crisp, founder and CEO of Crisp Imaging, joins Stephen Henley to talk about leadership, company culture, faith, and why he believes the best business leaders genuinely care for the people entrusted to them. Gary shares how being mentored by the founder of Carl’s Jr. helped shape his approach to business and eventually led him to Legatus. At the time, Gary was still growing Crisp Imaging and working toward the level of success that would allow him to become a Legatus member himself. Once he joined, the relationships he formed with other Catholic business leaders became a major source of support — not only professionally, but in deepening his faith and helping him see business through a different lens. Today, Gary brings that same mentality to the people who work for him. For some employees, he recognizes that a business leader may be one of the only consistent father figures or mentors they have in their lives. That reality has shaped the way he thinks about leadership, responsibility, and what it truly means to put people over profit.
