PARABLES ARE PRAYER IMAGES
From the Friars (Catholic Christian Spirituality)
Why did Jesus teach using parables? Listen to learn more! Podcast by Fr. Luke Mary Fletcher, CFR. Postscript to the prayer image story: The prayer image was given 34 years ago. My friend had an encounter at a basketball game which lead her to join the convent. She is still a religious sister to this day. I ended up going to undergrad at FUS in Ohio. Upon graduating a few years later I met the father of a friend and classmate. His father is the man who prayed with us! My friend ended up becoming a priest in Illinois.
