Ep 5: Opening the Doors to Christ – How Our Environment Shapes Our Faith
Further Up
Our surroundings have a profound impact on our spiritual lives. After moving across the street from my church, I’ve experienced firsthand how being near the Eucharist and surrounding myself with visible reminders of Christ has transformed my prayer life. In this episode, I reflect on the power of sacred spaces, from a crucifix above my fireplace to the stillness of adoration, and how they help us open our hearts to Christ. Drawing from Scripture, St. John Paul II’s call to “open wide the doors to Christ,” and the powerful imagery of Aslan peeling away Eustace’s dragon skin in The Voyage of the Dawn Treader, we’ll explore how intentional changes in our environment can lead to a deeper encounter with Jesus.
