In this episode of the Huntley Leadership Podcast, Michael Gentile shares his journey from early success in the financial world to launching a public foundation focused on supporting evangelization and apostolic mission within the Catholic Church. Michael’s fire for Jesus and deep desire to empower leaders has led to the creation of The Apostles Fund—a venture philanthropy approach to transforming the Church from the inside out. We talk about: - How Michael discovered his career was part of his call, not separate from it - What Catholic philanthropists often get wrong (and how to fix it) - The powerful advice that flipped his approach to money and mission - Why funding the Church is about multiplication, not just maintenance - What kinds of ministries The Apostles Fund supports—and how they help them scale - How they’re forming a movement, not just a foundation If you're a pastor, donor, entrepreneur, or lay leader passionate about mission, this conversation will stretch your vision and challenge your assumptions about generosity and impact in the Catholic Church.
