Irish Sports Saturdays
On the October November 5th, 2022 edition of Notre Dame Federal Credit Union's Irish Sports Saturdays, host Angelo Di Carlo sits down with Notre Dame football team chaplain, Fr. Nate Wills C.S.C. Fr. Nate is an annually guest on Irish Sports Saturdays and gives us a 'state of the Irish' perspective from the chaplain perspective. We discuss Marcus Freeman becoming Catholic, the return of pregame Mass on gamedays on both home and road games, Fr. Nate's spoof video on the Tommy Rees 'do your job' phone call, the diversified faiths of the Irish football team and how Fr. Nate's role as chaplain evolves when games don't go as planned and he faces players coming off a loss.
