The Real Priest behind Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery
More McGrady with Katie
Fr. Scott Bailey was a fan of Rian Johnson's films long before he sat down to dinner with him to answer questions about the priesthood. That fandom became friendship, and Fr. Scott consulted on Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery, offering insights into the interior life of a priest and the liturgical and aesthetical quirks of Catholicism, making this new Netflix movie a beautiful (and accurate) portrayal of the Catholic priesthood.
