Not Your Typical Trads
The number 1 thing we learned in Marriage prep, besides the importance and significance of the Sacrament, was the importance of modifying expectations. God knows we need some help in this area so He’s giving us some extra practice so we can be better for ourselves and for our men. As two Americans living in a foreign country, we can never live in autopilot. Everything that comes natural to us is not the way things are done here. Through this daily way of living, in our community life and now through married life, we encounter lots of challenges… and by embracing those crosses a whole lot of grace too!
