SPECIAL - Bishop Bryan Bayda (Ukranian Eparchy) in Canada
Radio Maria UK
Join us for an inspiring conversation with Most Rev. Bryan Joseph Bayda, CSsR, Bishop of the Ukrainian Catholic Eparchy of Toronto and Eastern Canada and Chairman of the Ukrainian Commission of Youth of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church. Bishop Bayda shares the remarkable story behind welcoming more than 30 groups of young pilgrims to Rome—many travelling from war-torn regions of Ukraine. As head of the Patriarchal Commission, he reflects on their courage, resilience, and the witness they offer to the global Church. “These young pilgrims are not just coming to see Rome,” he says. “They are witnessing to the world the depth of their faith and their hope, even in the midst of great suffering.” A moving testament to faith under fire—and the light young people carry into the heart of the Church. Tune in for a story of hope, endurance, and profound spiritual strength. If you enjoyed this programme, please consider supporting us with a one-off or monthly donation.
