JUST LIFE - Literary Pilgrimage - Matthew Clarke
Radio Maria UK
Matthew Clarke shares his work on the poetics of ‘literary pilgrimage’, the practice of many poets and bibliophiles of travelling to places relating to literary figures in the hopes of better understanding their poetry and their own calling. In this episode of Just Life Matthew also reads a selection of poems from a number of key poets and discusses how even in a secular world writers seek to transcend geographical and temporal boundaries between themselves and their predecessors.
