THE BARDCAST - Sarah de Nordwall - 8. Lucifer's Proposal
Radio Maria UK
Christmas has just been! And as we revel in the joy of the Word made flesh Sarah de Nordwall draws our attention to the rich array of saint's days that come in fast succession after Our Lord's Nativity. And what can we learn from these saints: Stephen, Thomas Becket and even King David of the Old Testament and the Psalms? One saint in particular takes the stage, you might say, in this episode, and how profoundly his life rings out, if we would take the time to recall it. Sarah also shares with us how writing poetry can get one's life on a new, restorative course, and then shares with us a most striking poem of her own called Lucifer's Proposal. As always we are given a prompt to inspire us to write as well, and if you wish you can send your submissions. The latest episode of THE BARDCAST airs on Sunday at 3.15pm and a new episode comes out every fortnight. Poetry submissions to can be sent to Sarah@SarahDeNordwall.com.
