Ep 12 | Heart Wide Open: Weekly Jesus
Rise to the Occasion
Until the life, death, resurrection, and ascension of Jesus, access to God was limited to a select group of people. Only one man a year could enter into the Holy of Holies. Only Moses spoke with God, sharing the Ten Commandments with the Israelite people. Whenever God’s people strayed from him, he called them back to him through a singular prophet to speak on his behalf. But with the life, teaching, sacrifice and resurrection of Jesus, we learn one simple yet transformative reality about God: More than anything else, He wants a relationship with YOU.
