Forming Men for the Priesthood: A Conversation with Bishop Reed | S3 E2 | SJS Podcast
SJS Podcast
In this episode of the Saint John’s Seminary Podcast, Col. Mike Manning sits down with Bishop Reed to look toward the road ahead for Saint John’s Seminary and the work of forming the priests of the future. Bishop Reed discusses his priorities for priestly formation, beginning with the men themselves: their prayer, spiritual direction, sacramental life, fraternity, and personal discernment of their vocation. Looking beyond the seminary walls, Bishop Reed discusses opportunities to deepen relationships with parishes, welcome lay Catholics onto the seminary campus, and help more people discover the work taking place at Saint John’s.
