Works of Mercy That Slay Greed | Shelter the Homeless & Instruct the Ignorant

Saturdays with Sir Rolland

Greetings, young slayers! In today’s episode, Sir Rolland continues the Lenten battle against the Green Dragon of Greed by exploring two works of mercy: sheltering the homeless and instructing the ignorant. Through stories of hospitality, missionary work, and the adventure of sharing the faith, we are reminded that generosity is not just about giving things—it’s about opening our homes, our hearts, and our knowledge of Christ to others. When we serve those in need and inspire others to discover the truth of the Gospel, greed loses its power and generosity begins to grow. Stay generous… and slay the Green Dragon of Greed! --------------------------- --------------------------- Saturdays with Sir Rolland is your weekly Catholic kids podcast on the art of dragon slaying — where dragons are sins, temptations, and obstacles to become saints, and we are called to become great dragon slayers!
