Fear is a powerful source that has the capability to rob us of joy, capacity, and potential. Fear is one of the ways in which the enemy comes to steal, kill and destroy. If the enemy can get us to doubt ourselves, to doubt the goodness of God and the gifts that He has given us, then he can keep us contained and prevent us from stepping into the fullness of who God has created us to be. Hosts, Karen Doyle and Von Hosking speak with guest Alyssa Agius, a Christian music artist, about the solutions and means to break free from fear and comparison traps. Alyssa Agius is a Catholic musician who established a Top 40 cover act with her husband, Daniel straight out of high school. She has been blessed to combine her love for her faith and music by singing at events and pilgrimages all over the world. After joining the Catholic Influencers Podcast in 2020, she joined the FRG Ministry team in 2021 and heads the podcasts and courses department. Together, they speak about the fear that manifests itself as beliefs and thoughts in our lives; it is this fear that often leads women into the comparison trap. Knowing our identity, knowing who we are in God, and knowing that God has created each of us with individual and unique gifts that aren’t repeated in anyone else, allows for God to come in, for us to gravitate to the truth, and to make way for a transformation.
