Show 216: Orpine and Cocklebur

Southern Appalachian Herbs

In this episode I discuss two wonderful plants.  The medicinal herb is the common Cocklebur.  THe edible wild plant is Orpine - I use this in fajitas, so I also give my recipes for pico de gallo, salsa, guacamole, red restaurant rice and refried beans.   New today in my Woodcraft shop: https://judsoncarrollwoodcraft.substack.com/p/1st-spalted-birch-cooking-spoon-set ADVENT SPECIAL: Email me at Judson@judsoncarroll.com to receive one free .pdf of any of my books!
