Show 70: Paracelsus and Christian Herbalism

Southern Appalachian Herbs

In this episode, I discuss the legendary doctor and alchemist, Paracesus Theophrastus Bombastus von Hohenheim. He was a figure of great controversy, who turned the world on its head and revolutionized medicine. He was also a devout Christian, trained in Monastic Medicine and German Folk Medicine. I also discuss the war in Ukraine and moral relativism.
