The Spiritual Canticle of St. John of the Cross

St. Anthony's Tongue

St. John of the Cross is the premiere mystical saint in Catholicism. While we be doing a deep dive on all things mystical in the coming months - I wanted to record this episode on my favorite St. John work as a tribute to his feast day today (12/14). In this episode we unpack his poem the Spiritual Canticle, while also discussing mysticism, and methodology. Support the podcast via the Patreon at: www.patreon.com/anthonystongue
