Talking Saints - Boniface
Talking Catholic
“O Lord, you have been our refuge in all generations.” Bishop, evangelist, and saint, Boniface, the “Apostle of Germany,” is the subject of the latest Talking Saints on his feast day, June 5. Hosts Laurie and Pete unravel the life of this 8thcentury Benedictine monk, who reformed the Church and converted thousands across Europe, and could have quite possibly started the tradition of the Christmas tree. Saint Boniface, patron of brewers and tailors, pray for us!
