BWA456 Matt Swaim

THE BEAR WOZNICK ADVENTURE

Today I’m pumped to be joined by Matt Swaim! Matt drags me out of bed at 12:30 every morning to appear on his show for just five minutes. Now I get him for a full 45 minutes. Matt is a convert to Catholicism. He’s a prominent figure on Catholic radio, co-host of the Son Rise Morning Show and contributor to the Coming Home Network. He’s also a diehard Cincinnati Reds fan, but we can forgive him for that. (Go Dodgers!) Together we’re going to talk about: Why, aside from tandem surfing, baseball is the most Catholic sportHow the Church gives you all the tools to become a saint and how each saint applies those tools differently when they “step up to the plate”Why practice doesn’t make perfect and what you need to do to create your perfect practiceHow studying the plays of the “veterans” helps you improve your game on the field and in CatholicismWhy fiction authors sometimes make better evangelists than professional theologians.
