Coach Cal and the Coal Miner
The Cale Clarke Show - Today's issues from a Catholic perspective.
A father goes straight from a long, backbreaking shift in the coal mines to a basketball game with his son, still dressed in his work clothes and covered in soot. Someone snaps a photo. The most famous college basketball coach in the land sees it, and a beautiful story about fatherhood and the dignity of work is born. Plus: the World Series begins tonight, and baseball is a game of statistics. Cale asks, God be proved with numbers?
