Forge Hog Roast: A Couples' Night of Faith, Food & Fellowship – Sam Halligan – 07/10/2026

The Catholic Morning Show

Sam Halligan, Des Moines City Director of Forge, joins Bo Bonner to preview the Forge Hog Roast, a Catholic couples' night of live music, roasted hog, and fellowship happening July 31 at Wills Family Orchard in Adel, Iowa. Halligan shares how the $15-per-person event grew out of Forge's mission to build Catholic men's community in Des Moines, featuring musician Luke Spehar and confessions available throughout the night. The conversation also looks ahead to Forge's fall lineup, including a September men's night with a Navy SEAL veteran and a three-day retreat in October.
